Why choose Museums with Marisa?
Field trips to museums are often expensive and overwhelming. You walk through the doors with a group of students, but then where to begin? Museums With Marisa can help by bringing a field trip right to your school!
Through MWM programs, Harvard trained educator-archaeologist Marisa Horowitz-Jaffe brings your school’s ancient civilizations and art history curriculum to life. MWM offers hands-on, illustrated and engaging presentations right in your classroom, giving students a one-of- a-kind opportunity to physically touch and interact with authentic, rare artifacts. Program topics include Ancient Egypt, Ancient Rome, Archaeology 101, Art History 101, and can be taught in a series or as individual programs. Personalized programs for your specific classroom needs can also be created.
