You know when you meet someone that is so passionate about what they do that is affects everyone else around them? That is how I met Marisa for our school's private tour of Egypt at the MET. Her love for history, archeology and ancient Egypt and Rome, etc... was infectious! I enjoyed so very much the up close and personal time we had learning about the past. She is patient and takes her time explaining each artifact. It was so precise and so easy to understand for myself and my 8 year old daughter. She even provided real artifacts for us to touch! Incredible!!! My love for history only increased and I can’t wait to catch the tour on Rome! Hands down, the best best!!
Marisa is extremely knowledgeable, passionate, engaging and simply the best! We attended a small group tour of The Met with my six year old (who, btw was a bit younger than the suggested age) and MWM did not disappoint. She captured the attention of the entire crew. Kids in our group were glued to every detail. At the end we sat down & participated in a small group activity related to the gallery which was a nice touch.

Wow, did we get lucky! We decided on a private tour of the museum because we knew we only had a few hours to spend there. We found Marisa online with a simple search. First of all, let's talk about her enthusiasm for the museum which is infectious! Her knowledge of The Met was amazing. When you book Marisa make sure to answer her pre-questions. Marisa basically customizes your tour. We were able to see the museum highlights as well as several points of interest that our group wanted to see specifically. This was unique and really made it memorable, especially for our friends that had never been to the Met before. Remember- you can't see the entire museum in one day. Instead we focused on a few areas in a couple hours and really got a first class education. Her knowledge and the way she navigated the museum made excellent use of our time. I would highly, highly recommend Marisa if you need a tour guide. She was awesome!
